Industries

Focused on Industrial Cargo and Manufacturing Supply Chains

Sangjin’s initial Canadian scope is intentionally focused. We support defined non-dangerous industrial cargo, manufacturing inputs, and B2B shipping programmes where disciplined coordination, partner oversight, and reporting create measurable value.

Where We Focus

Four related areas rather than a list of every industry. A narrow scope is what makes documented procedure and carrier qualification worth doing properly.

  • Polymer Resins & Petrochemical Inputs

Defined non-dangerous resins and petrochemical inputs, drawing on the parent company’s experience with synthetic-resin pellet transportation and coordination in Korea.

  • Industrial Materials

Palletized materials, packaged manufacturing inputs, components, production supplies, and industrial packaging on recurring plant and warehouse lanes.

  • Manufacturers & Tier-1 Suppliers

Companies entering Western Canada that need carrier relationships, operating procedures, and reporting before a full internal logistics team exists.

  • Canadian Importers & Distributors

Importers coordinating overseas suppliers, customs brokers, ports, warehouses, and several inland carriers who need one consolidated Canadian view.

Excluded or Separately Reviewed Cargo

Being explicit about what we do not accept is more useful than a broad capability claim. The following are outside the initial Canadian scope or require separate review before any discussion of service.

  • TDG-classified dangerous goods
  • Temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals
  • Food-grade products
  • Household goods
  • Personal moving services
  • Parcels and consumer deliveries
  • Waste
  • Live animals
  • Controlled or restricted goods
  • Cargo requiring specialized permits not within approved scope

Every product is reviewed independently

A product’s previous handling history does not replace the shipper’s responsibility to provide accurate classification and safety information. Service availability is subject to cargo, route, carrier capacity, and compliance review for each engagement.

Our Operating Model

Clear Roles Reduce Operational and Compliance Risk

Sangjin does not represent itself as the physical carrier, customs broker, or warehouse operator. We manage the coordination layer, while licensed and qualified providers perform the regulated or asset-based services required for each shipment.

What Sangjin manages

  • Carrier sourcing and coordination
  • Shipment milestones
  • Exception escalation
  • Partner qualification
  • SOP development
  • Bilingual reporting
  • Account governance

What qualified partners perform

  • Physical transportation
  • Warehousing
  • Customs-broker-authorized activity
  • Specialized regulated services

Frequently asked questions

How do I know whether my cargo fits your scope?

Send the product description, packaging, dimensions and weight, and classification documentation. Non-dangerous industrial cargo on approved Canadian lanes is generally in scope; TDG-classified dangerous goods are not. Where classification is unclear, we ask for documentation before discussing service.

Request a Logistics Assessment

Why exclude food-grade and pharmaceutical products?

Both carry regulatory and handling requirements — traceability, temperature control, facility certification — that sit outside our initial Canadian scope. Taking on cargo we cannot manage to the required standard would create risk for the customer rather than value.

Do you serve industries outside these four areas?

The four areas describe where we can apply the parent company’s operating experience most directly. Other non-dangerous industrial cargo can be reviewed case by case, but we would rather decline a lane than manage it without relevant experience.
